How my in-home
dog & puppy training works.
I come to your home to train you how to train your dog. Anything from current unwanted behaviors, preventing other unwanted behaviors, obedience training, and even what are the best toys and chews. I also train at the park when we reach a stage of wanting distractions or if your dog is reactive to certain things like people, other dogs, or things with wheels (skateboards, bikes, cars, etc.).
In-home dog training is great for so many reasons. If your family is busy then dog training in your home is perfect because it can be set up to work around your schedule. I provide personalized dog training and dog behavior for your specific dog and family members. Many of the issues complained about by dog parents happen in the home, such as jumping on guests, chewing, barking, stealing, not listening, and more. I keep training practical by considering what each family already has going on and how to fit dog training into a busy schedule.
The Journey Begins with PUPPIES
Puppies also do great with in-home training. Training for puppies should start right away in order to avoid many behavior problems, fears and anxieties. Plus they are like little sponges when it comes to picking up on training. Having a training session in your home with the whole family can keep everyone on the same page.

I’ve been a dog behaviorist since 1998, and have had numerous students from dog training colleges do their hands-on training with me. Over the years, I’ve also worked with various rescue groups. I believe in training my clients how to train their dog or puppy using positive and practical methods. This is my passion, helping dogs and their humans.
