Puppy Training

Puppy behavior is where it all starts. Experiences a puppy has early on in particular can shape a puppy’s behavior for life; especially when it comes to typical dog fears such as thunderstorms, fireworks, children, and other dogs. You can prevent them from having anxiety or becoming reactive/ aggressive as well. Stopping behaviors like jumping and barking when they are a puppy is quicker as well. Same goes for basic training such as come, sit, down, wait, and loose leash walking.

I offer puppy training in your home or virtually via video chat training. My style of training is to train you how to train your puppy. All training is individualized using a positive and practical method. As a dog behaviorist I look at the whole picture to help you train your puppy. Ultimately reaching a balanced relationship with your puppy through clear communication. Puppies are like little sponges picking up obedience and behavior training easily.

How it Works

At our first session I will ask numerous questions about what problems you are having or trying to prevent. I will get specifics about your daily schedule and family’s needs. I will also get what I like to call the puppy’s side of the story as well. I use a standard collar or harness along with a standard leash. I also charge a per session fee for budget friendliness.
